Monique Foot
Owner
Monique Foot’s love for hair started early, growing up in her mother’s salon and soaking in the craft from a young age. After honing her skills at Northlink College and working with industry legend Hugo Minnie, Monique quickly made a name for herself, earning accolades like the Paul Mitchell Hairstylist of the Year and becoming a finalist in the Goldwell Colour Zoom Competition. Her journey, which began at just 16, is driven by a deep passion for teaching the next generation of stylists. Monique is a qualified hairdresser and assessor, dedicated to sharing her wealth of knowledge and skills. Beyond the salon, she’s an avid reader and loves walking her dogs. Monique believes that continued education is the cornerstone of success in the ever-evolving world of hair.
Mari Husselmann
Owner
Mari Husselmann found her calling in hairdressing after a pivotal job shadowing experience at Hugo the Hair Company during her matric year. Initially unsure about her future, Mari discovered that hairdressing perfectly blended her passions for creativity and helping others. After completing her studies at West Coast Hair Academy under the mentorship of Isabel de Villiers, Mari embraced the hard work and dedication required in the trade. Today, she’s driven by the ability to not only transform her clients' looks but also boost their confidence. Constantly refining her skills and staying on top of trends, Mari is committed to being the best version of herself for her clients. Outside of work, she’s eagerly preparing to welcome her firstborn, Noah, into her salon family alongside her beloved fur babies.
Colleen Blake
Manager
Colleen Blake is a qualified hairdresser and assistant facilitator at Langebaan Hair Academy, where she thrives on working closely with students to help them develop new skills. With a soft and friendly demeanor, Colleen is always ready to lend a hand, whether it's assisting with salon open days or collaborating with students to create unique looks for clients. Her passion lies in teaching and nurturing the next generation of hair professionals.
